Birthdays
Birthdays at our age
This is our first one
Let’s not take it too serious
Let’s just have fun
I feel the panic as I grow older too
Oh but you are a lot older
I’d hate to be in your shoes
You look good, you look great
If I were to guess, I would say 58
But we know we have to age
“Gracefully”
Is what I always pray
The hair is healthy and shinny and not too much gray
The body is that of a younger man
I am pleased to say
You have come a long way
Traveled many a mile
the bonus for me…………………
REAL TEETH behind that gorgeous smile
Keep up the good work
Continue to take care of yourself
Let’s get those dancing shoes off of the shelf

Such a beautiful season of the year
Such a beautiful season of the year
A time for planting a time for sowing
A time for reflecting
A time to see people, animals and vegetation growing
As the seasons grow for you my son
Temper and refine and grow
You are like a tree growing under the sun
Take advantage of the season
It will be winter before you know
My prayer for you is to grow straight and tall like a grand tree
Be protective, have wisdom, strength and kindness to shelter the ones you
Love
I see so much of this in you now
Pray for more growth from above
As the seasons grow for you my son
Temper and refine and grow
You are like a tree growing under the sun
Take advantage of the season
It will be winter before you know
With love from your seasoned mother~
I am just a bit nervous today
I am just a bit nervous today
I am to give my mother away
I can see her upstairs
I can see part of her wedding dress
She looks so beautiful
I will keep her for myself. I guess
I am just a bit nervous today
I am to give my mother away
Give her away?
What does that mean?
Tuxedos, decorations, cake and bouquet
After all of the fuss she is still my mother it would seem
I am just a bit nervous today
I am to give my mother away
Everyone is happy
No one is sad
What a beautiful family
Mom, Michael and Christoper and now,
Greg ~

Lidya, i like the way you put the word down… Like you can look at something and think about for a while, then make a poem. Good machanics

A Picnic A Picnic
Let’s get away
Let’s have some fun
As simple as we would like it to be
In the park
Under the sun
Or on the beach by the sea
Or we could stay
A picnic in the day
We really don’t have to go far
A picnic at night
Just you and I
A picnic under the stars
As simple or as elaborate as we would like it to be
Paper plates or China
What is important is it will be
Just you and me!
“A bit of Coffee Shop humor otherwise known as “Latte Laughter”:
“Big Shot ”
Kona Mocha
Mother of little Pina Colada
Father was a double-shot Espresso no doubt
He placed a Mint Julep on her two lips
A crystal cube of sugar she could not live without
The wedding was grand with all cousins at hand
With Uncle Smoothie and Aunt Latte doing the twist
There was Auntie Decaf and Uncle Regular
Leaded and Unleaded they were called
Aunt Unleaded watched the dancing and Uncle Regular bounced off the wall
Yes, Kona and Espresso, a fine couple anyone can see
When they got older
Spent their time sipping antioxidant teas
A full life of percolating, bubbling and boiling
They were both “Hot”
Then they died
Perpetually with us because
Now they are Freeze -Dried!!
Speechless? I find that odd…
